This week has been a CRAZY week!! So first off my son Elder Ismael is no longer with me! Which is crazy, he is going to Manila to get surgery, but will be back in 2 or 3 weeks so I can finish his training.  So don't worry its not me thats getting the surgery, but its my anak, but he is super tough so it will be good!! But now I am in a trisome with Elder Robinson and Elder Pojas and we have 3 AREAS!!! All of our companions have either gone home, gotten transferred, or are getting surgery… so now we work in Maria, San Luis, and Baler which makes everything that much crazier and let’s just say planning is SUPER important for us right nowJ We are just trying to help ALL investigators in ALL areas to stay afloat and progress, it’s been a fun time so far!!!

Another cool thing that happened this week was we had District Conference in Baler!  President Johnson came and presided over the meeting and gave an amazing talk about how we can all be that ONE, the one who says that kind thing to someone, who says we miss you at church, who goes the extra mile to help them out in whatever way possible, but WE CAN ALL DO IT!!! Because all of us can change the world, so that’s something that our trisome is working on right now, changing the world, so let’s all be that ONE and go change the world!!

We had a referral this week and his name was JR and he is 19.  So the members set up that we would go and teach him at their house on Saturday night.  So after a little waiting he came, which was a MIRACLE!!! And he is super ready to hear the gospel, he agreed with everything we said, he wants to pray and read the Book of Mormon to know if it is true, and next week he will come to church.  This was the very first time in my entire mission that I have shared the Restoration in a member’s home.  But it was SO COOL, and like President Clark said before “this is the ideal!” teaching an investigator in a strong members house.  The spirit was there and I believe that he is ready to do everything to come to know its true, so excitedJ

Missionary Life… I love it, and I’m so thankful to be in the Philippines, the people here are incredible and sometimes I forget that and take it for granted how amazing/special these people really are.  Sister Johnson also gave a talk and from when she served here in the Philippines over 40 years ago there was just over 15,000 members and now there are over 750,000.  And she said that the Philippines is the fastest growing country for the whole church in the world since the Restoration… I feel so blessed to be able to be a part of it…
Thanks for all the emails, and prayers!!!

LOVE, Elder Alldredge
